Smoky Mountain Table

Led by Garden Manager Jeff Ross and FarmStead Manager Dustin Busby, Smoky Mountain Table is a weekend dedicated to celebrating elements of Blackberry Farm. Our guests will be taken on a behind-the-scenes journey through everything Blackberry, including garden demonstrations with Master Gardener John Coykendall, a dairy tour, cheesemaking classes with Cheesemaker Adam Spannaus and unique meals hosted by our artisans. Along with our very own Executive Chef of The Barn, Joseph Lenn, every guest will experience what defines foothills cuisine and a little about this wonderful region we call Appalachia. Along with hands-on cooking demonstrations, guests will also have the opportunity to taste the incredible wines from Littorai Winery. In 1993, Heidi and Ted Lemon — life-long, family winemakers dedicated to their craft — founded Littorai Wines. Littorai produces nine vineyard designated Pinot Noir wines and four vineyard designated Chardonnay wines. In 2010, Ted was named Winemaker of the Year by the San Francisco Chronicle.
