Fox Hunting
Call it tradition, call it an urge for adventure or even a chase for legends - no matter what part of it makes you tingle, there really is nothing more exciting than an early morning start, the sounds of hooves and hounds thundering across a sloping hillside and the thought of doing something completely outside of our modern world. Foxhunting has been a long-held tradition of nobility and great horsemen for centuries, and today the devotees of the hunt still uphold time-honored practices that have given foxhunting its lore, mystery and appeal. Blackberry Farm is now offering this celebrated experience to our guests. On select Saturdays throughout the season, we will be mounting up and heading out to ride with the hounds. With several options to choose from, you can participate with your own horse or borrow one of ours and have as much instruction and fun as you’d like.
